What year did you get your first computer?

Do you remember what year did you get your computer? or When? what model was it?

I got my first computer about 2003, A PIII 800Mhz with 256MB RAM and 40GB HDD.

I got my first computer in 1998, it was an E machine, which they were giving away for free, all you had to do was use Compuserve for 2 years. It was running Windows 98 and had a whole big 3 gig hard drive I remember it was such a big deal when I got the next computer that had a 20 gig hard drive!

I know how it feels, same feeling when I got my second computer with 100GB of Disk space and then I got my external drive with 1TB of space! I could not believe one day it will be full and it is now...
